WHAT WE OFFER
Personal Care Services
Personal Care Services provide non-medical assistance to individuals who require help with their daily living activities. These services are designed to support individuals who may be elderly, disabled, or recovering from an illness or injury but wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes rather than moving to a care facility. Personal Care Services can be provided by trained caregivers or home health aides. Some common components of our Personal Care Services include:
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): This includes support with fundamental tasks necessary for everyday life, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility (e.g., transferring from a bed to a wheelchair).
- Meal Preparation and Feeding: Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary. This ensures that the person receiving care is adequately nourished and hydrated.
- Medication Reminders: While caregivers may not administer medication (that’s typically done by licensed medical professionals), they can provide reminders to ensure the individual takes their prescribed medications at the correct times.
- Mobility Support: Assistance with walking, moving around the house, and using mobility devices like canes or walkers.
- Transportation: Helping the individual get to and from medical appointments, social events, or other necessary outings.
- Light Housekeeping: Performing light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up, doing laundry, and ensuring the home environment is safe and clean.
- Companionship: Providing emotional support and companionship, which can be especially beneficial for individuals who may feel lonely or isolated.
- Exercise and Physical Activities: Encouraging and supporting the individual in performing prescribed exercises or engaging in physical activities to maintain mobility and overall health.
- Personal Safety Monitoring: Keeping an eye on the person’s safety and well-being, addressing any potential hazards in the home.
